Before flying: choose the airport and the exact hotel
Punta Cana International Airport uses the code PUJ. Santo Domingo uses SDQ, and La Romana uses LRM; these airports are different destinations. A cheaper flight to a different airport can mean a longer road journey. Check the airport code on your flight confirmation before comparing transfer prices.
Enter the full hotel name from your accommodation confirmation. Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana have different guest receptions, while several RIU, Bahia Principe and Majestic properties share a wider resort area. A room category or the hotel chain alone does not identify your destination.
The details your driver needs
- Arrival date and flight number, including connecting-flight details if relevant.
- The total number of travelers, counting children.
- Standard bags and any oversized luggage, stroller or mobility equipment.
- Your hotel name and a phone or WhatsApp number you can use on arrival.
Landing time is not the time you exit arrivals. Immigration, baggage collection and customs take time. The team confirms the meeting instructions for your terminal before the service; follow those instructions rather than assuming every prebooked driver uses the same pickup area.
After customs: follow your confirmed instructions
Keep your booking reference and the team’s contact details accessible. If you cannot find the meeting point, contact the team before arranging a separate ride. Report a flight change promptly so your request can be reviewed against the new schedule. This website does not promise an unconfirmed waiting period or immediate departure.
The airport’s official transportation page lists taxis, rental cars and other transportation options. A prebooked transfer, an airport taxi and a shared shuttle are different services: compare the destination, total price, passenger capacity and pickup arrangements.
Choose space for people and luggage
A vehicle’s seat count does not tell you how many large bags it can carry. Our results show separate passenger and standard-bag capacities. For child seats or unusual luggage, add your requirements to the request and have them confirmed before payment.
Arrange the hotel-to-airport return
Add a return transfer or select Hotel to airport. Provide your departure flight and date. The local team confirms the hotel meeting point and pickup time, allowing for the route and airport requirements. The drive estimate is not the full time you should allow for airport check-in.
